Cultures of mountain biking (CoMtb)

Analyzing why, how and where mountain biking matters

About us

We are an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse, and global group of researchers who's aim is to understand the social, cultural, and political significance of mountain biking in contemporary societies.

Comprising members with backgrounds in art, community development, psychology, sociology, cultural studies, journalism, marketing and coaching, we are passionate about helping organisations to address a range of identities, bodies, environments, and inequalities

By encouraging evidence - informed discussions between landowners, governing bodies, sport brands and policy makers, our team can help to develop applied solutions to many of the worlds most pressing problems.
